Now I can join the others

Feels like I'm the last person to read George R.R. Martins A Song of Ice and Fire that includes Game of Thrones (never seen the show either), A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords and A Feast for Crows but now I can at least read it if I want to:)
I like the box I got the books in and it will look good in my bookshelf.

Is the books worth reading and is the show worth seeing?
I hope some of you will answer my question:)

Today I got a SMS that my order from CDON has arrived so I went to the store and got my package.
