My second book this year is Shadowhunters and downworlders - A Mortal Instrument Reader by Cassandra Clare.


I have not yet have the chance to read the books in A Mortal Instruments Series but I hope that it doesn't matter.

Review: Best served cold

The perfect book for everyone whom loves the TV-show Revenge since you get a lot of good information according to me.

What I think about the book:

I think it was really good since it gave me a lot of information about how it went when they have the castings and you also learned about the actors.

Something that I thought was interesting to read in this book is how they draw parables to other books and how they draw parables of roles from Alexandre Dumas's book The Count of Monte Cristo.

You can not just see the similarities from books but also from television and movies, such as Dallas, Dynasty and Knots Landing.

In The Count of Monte Cristo, it is Dante who get scammed and lose everything and the Revenge is David Clarke but instead of David Clarke comes back to get his revenge as Dante, it is rather his daughter "Emily Thorne".

To find out more, I think you should get the book and read it if you like Revenge as much as I do.

This one is one of my favourite books that I have been reading so far and I just loved it. 

It is a beautiful story almost like a fairytale, or that just what it may be and it compells the reader to just wanting more.

At first it was a little slow but when I got in the book it seemed like it ended really quick since I barely let it down.

The language in the book is well understandable and you can imagine the book as a movie in your head because it is that well written.

Love Unscripted is a perfect book to read and it's understandable if the readers are falling in love with this one. How many girls hasn't dreamt about having a relationship with an actor and by reading this one it is almost like you are Taryn.

One of my favourite actions in the book is when Taryn takes Ryan to her parents cabin to go fishing and it is amazing how you can feel inside that they really care about each other.

Another one is the engagment scene since I also like Taryn thought he had meet someone else since he was very short to her.

It gets a 5+ out 5.

It seem really good and I'm loving it but at first it took a little while before I got in to the book.

What action is your favourite so far?
It must be when Taryn and Ryan went up to her parents cabin going fishing even do they got sick but it was romantic to read how they cared for each other.

This is a classic saga that many children had heard but in this version the main character is not a man instead it is a woman.

Since I only know this saga from the movies (shame on me I know) I have to say it is a real good one and I loved it.

The fact that is made as a serie album makes it more fun to read and easier for childrens to read it too since there is plenty of illustrations.

My thoughts on this good and classical story is following:

• It is good written and good illustrations
• I love the re-writing that they used a auntie instead of a uncle like in the "real" story 
• That it makes you want to read the whole thing 
• The fact that is in modern English makes it easier to understand
• And also I like that we get to see how the auntie changes her mind and becomes a really nice lady and no longer is mean to the people.

I think everyone should read this one even though you may already have read the new one because you will not regret it.

 This version will get a 5 out of 5 because it is worth it:)

My thoughts:
As many has understand is this a manga and for maybe a year ago I loved to read manga and watching some shows like Love Hina and plenty of others so when I saw this one on NetGalley I thought to myself this one might be something I would like.

Oh little did I know but when I started to read it wasn't so good that I hoped for so I acctually didn't finished it but who knows maybe someday I will finish it and then come back to say gosh I was wrong the first time I read it.

I think that you got to be in the mood for some manga reading and not just be in the mood of reading something or maybe I'm just not that in to manga anymore:/

But don't go on my review for maybe you like or love manga then I would say try to read it and if you like it please tell me why and what your thought was because we all may not have the same taste:)

I will  give it a 2,5 of a 5 since I love the illustrations in it and because the story do seem nice:)

Can love really heal all things? If Sam Carroll hadn’t shown up, she might have been able to get to her mother in time. She is dealt another blow when, a few hours later, she is sent from Tennessee to Maine to become the daughter of Miss Beatrice Lovell, a prim woman with a faith Allie cannot accept. Poetry and letters written to her mother become the only things keeping Allie’s heart from hardening completely. But then Sam arrives for the summer, and with him comes many confusing emotions, both toward him and the people around her. As World War II looms, Allie will be forced to decide whether hanging on to the past is worth losing her chance to be loved.

At the beginning it went little bit slowly but it passed after just 2-3 pages and it is a mixed between a sad book and a happy romantic book that turns in to a sad book and then back to a happy romantic book.
I wrote down what I liked and disliked about the book and here comes the list.

What I liked about the book:

• That Rachel Coker have choosen to have some Emily Dickinson quotes at the beginning of every chapter, each one is very beautiful

• I'm really loving the main character name Alcyone

• The language is written in a good and a understandable English even though the story takes place in 1940th 

• The story is really good and Rachel maked me want to read the book all the time

What I didn't liked about the book:

• The end that leaved me hanging and wanting more but, in the end this fits in the like list too since a book that leaves you hanging and wanting more is a great book :) 

I think you should read this book if you, like me, is a sucker for romantic, sad and historical books even though it is not so much of historical other than the WW2 I would say.
I would recommend this book to everyone I know that loves reading because of the well writing language, the story and because of the age of the author.

I will give this book a 5 out of 5:)
