A-List Movie Star

Ryan Christensen just wanted to be an actor. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever imagine that fans would chase him, paparazzi would hound him, and Hollywood studios would all want a piece of him. While filming on location in Seaport, Rhode Island Ryan ducks into a pub for just a quick escape from screaming fans—but fate has other plans.

Meets Small Town Girl

At six foot two, with dirty blond hair, blue eyes, and an incredible body, Ryan has every girl in Seaport swooning—every girl but Taryn Mitchell. Nursing a recent heartbreak, this small town pub owner believes men are best kept at a distance. But when Ryan unexpectedly bursts into her pub, she can’t help but be drawn in by his humor, charm and intense magnetism.

But Gossip Sells and They’re Paying the Price

Despite her better judgment, Taryn soon finds herself swept up in a whirlwind romance with Ryan. But is their bond strong enough to survive the tabloid lies, intrusive paparazzi, and stalking fans who threaten to tear them apart?

This one is one of my favourite books that I have been reading so far and I just loved it.
It is a beautiful story almost like a fairytale, or that just what it may be and it compells the reader to just wanting more.
At first it was a little slow but when I got in the book it seemed like it ended really quick since I barely let it down.

The language in the book is well understandable and you can imagine the book as a movie in your head because it is that well written.
Love Unscripted is a perfect book to read and it's understandable if the readers are falling in love with this one. How many girls hasn't dreamt about having a relationship with an actor and by reading this one it is almost like you are Taryn.

One of my favourite actions in the book is when Taryn takes Ryan to her parents cabin to go fishing and it is amazing how you can feel inside that they really care about each other.
Another one is the engagment scene since I also like Taryn thought he had meet someone else since he was very short to her.

It gets a 5+ out 5.

5 questions abot the book I'm reading

Love Unscripted (Love, #1)

How many chapters had you read in this book?
What was the first sentence in the book?
"Ooh ooh, Taryn turn it up!" Marie pointed frantically in the air while making a gin and tonic with her other hand.
What was the last sentence you read in the book?
I kissed his bare chest; my mishievous tongue took the liberty to taste him.
How do you think the book is?
It seem really good and I'm loving it but at first it took a little while before I got in to the book.
What action is your favourite so far?
It must be when Taryn and Ryan went up to her parents cabin going fishing even do they got sick but it was romantic to read how they cared for each other.

A Christmas Carol - Goodreads

My review copy:ARC received from the puvhlisher through NetGalley for a honest review

Charles Dickens’s holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, is given a fresh twist—with a female Scrooge! Rod Espinosa (The Courageous Princess) adapts and illustrates this story of the miserly Eliza Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of the past, present, and future on one fateful Christmas eve.
* This hardcover volume makes a perfect gift for the coming season!

This is a classic saga that many children had heard but in this version the main character is not a man instead it is a woman.
Since I only know this saga from the movies (shame on me I know) I have to say it is a real good one and I loved it.
The fact that is made as a serie album makes it more fun to read and easier for childrens to read it too since there is plenty of illustrations.
My thoughts on this good and classical story is following:
  • It is good written and good illustrations
  • I love the re-writing that they used a auntie instead of a uncle like in the "real" story
  • That it makes you want to read the whole thing
  • The fact that is in modern English makes it easier to understand
  • And also I like that we get to see how the auntie changes her mind and becomes a really nice lady and no longer is mean to the people.

I think everyone should read this one even though you may already have read the new one because you will not regret it.
This version will get a 5 out of 5 because it is worth it:)

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases and this week I'm waiting on:

Miss Dreamsville and the Collier County Women's Literary Society: A Novel
In 1962, Jackie Hart moved to Naples, Florida, from Boston with her husband and children. Wanting something personally fulfilling to do with her time, she starts a reading club and anonymously hosts a radio show, calling herself Miss Dreamsville.

The racially segregated town falls in love with Miss Dreamsville, but doesn’t know what to make of Jackie, who welcomes everyone into her book club, including a woman who did prison time for allegedly killing her husband, a man of questionable sexual preference, a young divorcee, as well as a black woman.

The Devil's Thief (The Saint’s Devils, #1)
The daughter of a reformed jewel thief, Julianna Harte knows a thing or two about stealth. When the foundling home she provides for finds itself in dire financial straits, Julianna is forced to do the unthinkable. In a bit of misguided Robin Hood derring-do, she slips through the window of a wealthy rake to search for a treasure she knows is there: an invaluable pearl. But when the towering and very naked occupant of the moonlit bedroom ambushes her with a bargain—a night in his bed in exchange for the pearl—Julianna doesn’t know if it’s masculine heat or sheer desperation that makes his terms so tempting.

Alasdair Sharpe had no intention of keeping his end of the bargain. Planning to offer his little cat burglar carte blanche instead, he promptly loses himself in the delights of unexpected pleasure. But when he awakes the next morning to find his family heirloom gone, fury quickly replaces sensual languor. Of course, Alasdair is more than willing to use seduction to reclaim his stolen pearl—and find the key to Julianna’s heart.

Top Ten Tuesday - Books that makes you think

This will be my first time doing a so called TTT and this weeks topic is Books that makes you think.
So here is the top ten list of books that makes me think about the world, life, people and etc:

1. A Child Called 'It'
This book makes me think about how awful life can be if you are born in a family that includes a mother that shouldn't have had any children by the way she had threatend Dave and his siblings.

2. How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale
The reason I took this one is because we people are very good to judge people by what they are doing for a living or for their lifestyle.
Yes, Jenna Jameson is a porn star but she had an awful background in how she got in the showbiz and after I read this one I was chocked and I acctually loved this book.

3. 3,096 Days
This one is a book that made me think about how people can do things like kidnap a little girl and lock her in but it also made me think about how strong miss Kampusch has gotten after the abduction.

4.A Little Princess
I remember I loved this movie very much but I did always asked myself how can people be so mean to other people just because they don't have a lot of money and also how you can put a child in work at that low age.
Yes, I know it was that way ages ago but even there are still poor children that get so called slaveworks just because they need the money.

When it comes to the books about Harry Potter that makes me think about how awesome and fun it would have been if life sometimes could be like in Harry Potter's world without the horrible accidents and without you know who.
Wouldn't you guys like if life sometimes could be like in this character world?

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks is a romantic book and movie that I really admire.
This book makes me think about life when I get older since I too want to die old with the person I love and have it like the old couple have it without the alzheimer.

7. If I Stay
This one makes me think about life and chooses we have to make.

Big Brother is watching us all and so is it in this book too.

This is a great story that make us see how people can change and what stupid mistakes some of us can choose 'cause what is the meaning of living a life looking beautiful and not age when the person you love will change and grow old or when the people that is in your life gets old and dies?

10. How the Grinch Stole Christmas cover.png
This makes me think about how greedy we people can get sometimes.

What books can I find at your list?
